Kolaboro / Company graph
Who is behind a project
For every UK project we track, we look up the companies named in our research on Companies House, read who their current directors are, and list the other companies those directors run. Dissolved and insolvent companies in that network are counted. Projects stay anonymous: no company names, director names, dates of birth or addresses are published.

How it is built
Dissolved is not the same as failed. Many developers use one company per project and close it after handover. A pattern of short-lived companies, or insolvency, is a question to ask the developer, with the register open in front of you.
Where it does not work
Court records, by exact company name
You can search public court-decision databases for the exact legal name of a company, for example the seller named in your draft contract. We list only cases whose title contains exactly that name, and we label each one as needing a check that it is the same company. Names of people are never searched.
