Kolaboro / Official registers / Automated checks
Which registers can a machine check?
We asked every official register on our registers page for a page, after reading its robots.txt, and recorded what came back. Only a few answer a lookup by number without a browser, a login or a captcha. Those we check automatically, and we archive each answer with its SHA-256.
Look up a number now
The answer is fetched live from the register. The exact bytes it returned are hashed with SHA-256 and kept, so you can fetch them again and check the hash yourself. 20 lookups an hour per visitor.

Register results per project
UK projects: every company named for the project in our research record (developer, project company, site owner) was looked up automatically on Companies House, and each response archived with its SHA-256. Company names and numbers are not shown while the project is anonymous. Thailand: environmental approvals recorded earlier by our research agent; those responses were not archived byte for byte.
