How to read this
Publishes deposit protection
The developer describes an escrow account, a trust account or a guarantee for buyer payments. This is item D2 of the disclosure standard. A description is not proof that it exists.
Verification levels
Registry: found in a regulator's escrow or project register. Confirmed: a bank, regulator or other independent source confirms it. Developer only: only the developer says so. Contradicted: a regulator or the named bank says otherwise.
Where the law comes from
The protection and register notes are taken from our official registers guide, which covers 19 markets. Where it lists no register, we say so instead of guessing. This is information, not legal advice.
Never pay outside the contract
Account details belong in your signed contract, never only in an email or chat. Public account numbers invite payment fraud, so a good developer does not post one on its website.
