I think it’s a great place to live. The community feels quiet and well-planned which makes it perfect for families and people who like an area unlike the busy parts of Dubai. One of the things about Al Furjan is that it’s easy to get around if you have a Car. Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road are nearby so I can get to Dubai Marina, Jebel Ali or even Expo City easily. But if you do not own a car, then public transport is a but problematic in the inner areas. The bus F45 goes around, but the frequency is not great. The Discovery Gardens Metro Station is close by from many areas, but again, if you stay in the inner areas, it can be upwards 45 mins of walk. There is the Al Furjan Pavilion and Al Furjan West Pavilion which have everything I need like supermarkets, cafes, pharmacies and small restaurants. I also like that there are parks walking tracks and open spaces in Al Furjan so it’s easy to go for a walk or spend time outdoors. Overall I think Al Furjan is a great place to live because it’s peaceful. The community mall, Furjan Pavilion, has a Spinneys and a couple of restaurants, pharmacies, and a tailor shop. Al Furjan Club next to the pavilion has a gym, swimming pool, and a tennis court, so you have everything in one place. The metro is a 5-minute walk from my building (Masakin Al Furjan), which makes commuting a breeze. There are also plenty of walking tracks, and the one leading to the pavilion is especially green. Driving is quite effortless since traffic isn't an issue here. Plus, apartments here are reasonably priced compared to other areas.
